Good deal on pearl earrings

I bought some Pearl Earrings during their holiday sale. I signed up for their newsletter first and got a 10% off code, which stacked with the sale price. It made the price pretty competitive. They arrived in about a week. Overall, it felt like a good buy for the quality.

Nice bracelet, slow shipping

I ordered a Gold Bracelet for my wife's birthday. The ordering process on the website was straightforward enough. It took 8 days to reach New York, which felt a bit long for a domestic shipment. The bracelet itself is lovely, very delicate, and the gold vermeil looks good. I did have a question about the clasp size and used their online chat; the support person was helpful and answered my question within a few minutes.

Reliable for gifts

This isn't my first time ordering from Au+ora. I've bought a few things, mostly as gifts, like a Snake Necklace for my sister last year and this time a pair of Minimalist Earrings for a friend. The quality has been consistently good, the jewelry always looks like the photos. Shipping takes a reasonable amount of time, usually 5-7 days for me in California. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and their pieces are always well-received. No issues with packaging or anything either.

Thinking of getting a new gold necklace, but also looking at Mejuri. How does Au+ora compare in terms of quality and look?

S Sam Vargas 2 months ago
I've got pieces from both. Au+ora feels a bit more unique with the element-inspired stuff, kinda more 'boutique' vibes. Mejuri is good for everyday basics but less distinctive, I think.

Au+ora's vermeil feels a bit sturdier than some of Mejuri's stuff I've seen, and the designs are definitely more specific. If you like the snake/element style, Au+ora is probably better. Mejuri is more minimalist, generally.

Thinking of ordering a bracelet for Mother's Day, but I'm worried about shipping. How long does it usually take to get to, say, California?

T Tara 2 months ago
Mine took about a week to get to San Diego last time, but that wasn't a holiday. Might be a bit longer with Mother's Day coming up, so order early.

I'm in NorCal, and my last order came in 5-6 business days. They're usually pretty good, but yeah, holidays can slow things down for any store.

hey, was looking at a snake necklace. are these pieces actually handmade or is that just marketing speak?

M Marcus 2 months ago
Yeah, they're handmade. The site says it somewhere, I think it's part of why they're a bit pricier.

Can confirm, got a pair of the pearl earrings and they felt really well-made, not mass-produced at all. The craftsmanship is def there.

I'm between sizes for a ring. Do Au+ora rings usually run true to size, or should I size up/down?

R Rosa 2 months ago
My snake ring felt true to size, but if you're really on the fence, maybe go for the bigger one? You can always get it sized down if it's too loose, sometimes sizing up is harder.

I'd say they're pretty standard sizing. If you have a measuring tool, it's worth checking their size guide if they have one.

Anyone know if you can use more than one promo code at checkout? Got a free shipping code and a percentage off from signing up.

B Beth Romero 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure it's one code per order. I tried to stack two once and it wouldn't let me.

I've never been able to combine them. Most places only let you use one discount at a time, and Au+ora seems to be the same.
